For the past 2 1/2 weeks, my sister and I were traveling around the west coast, as a celebration of her college graduation! woot!

We started off with a trip to Cabo San Lucas (above), and then traveled to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle. Quite an endeavor, and it was truly wonderful.

Our vacation started off pretty chill with our 5 days in Mexico..which ended up being a really good thing because the following 12 days proved to be go-go-go 16+ hours a day! Confession: that was 100% my doing, not my sister’s. I hate to feel like I’m missing out on what a city has to offer- especially when we’re spending $$$ to be there.

So our days including LOTS of walking (10+ miles per day!), lots of tourist-y attractions, and also some discovery of our own. When traveling, I like to hit all the popular sports, but I’m also a strong believer in venturing out into the unknown of a city (aka the un-reviewed by TripAdvisor). That’s how you get a feel for the city, it’s people, it’s culture!

Here are a few pictures that summarize our whirlwind 17 days across 2 countries, 3 states, and 5 cities!
